Our fully qualified engineers and technicians provide a comprehensive design development and drawing office service. We have forty draughtsmen and engineers with extensive experience in detailing precast components. They welcome early involvement in projects in order to ensure clients get the best out of their cladding both in terms of design and cost effectiveness. Our main design office is located in Dublin, Ireland with a second office in Leicester, England. Techrete's ASDL and ISDN lines allow data transfer and video conferencing between its three offices in unison.

Constant cost control is crucial in the manufacture of specialist cladding panels where mechanisation and standardisation of mould and production equipment are not always possible. At Techrete, the cost implications of any project are monitored by our Quantity Surveyors on an on-going basis to facilitate efficient project management and, through early involvement and careful planning, we ensure all job costs are minimised and controlled.

The Planning department works with all other departments in Techrete to ensure the finished product is erected in line with the clients requirements. This means getting involved at tendering stage and subsequently ensuring units are designed, manufactured, finished and erected to an agreed contractual programme. Planning also covers programming all cast-in items such as stone, brick, terracotta etc.

Both our factories contain purpose-built casting shops served by large steel vibrating beds ideal for producing large components. In Dublin, the very latest in polishing machinery has been installed. This technology ensures sophisticated polished concrete finishes are achievable within the budget of most quality cladding systems. Experienced workforces operate our equipment - indeed, every project supervisor has more than twenty years experience in precast concrete work.

A cast unit is transformed into a finished item and individualised through the application of different textures, finishes and colours, of which there is almost infinite choice. Our finishers work with only natural materials and through meticulous care and attention, whether machine or hand finishing, achieve consistency with every product.

In our experience, converting a detailed design drawing into a three-dimensional mould can only be achieved one way - through skilled craftsmanship. Our expert craftsmen use primarily high quality seasoned timber for the moulds. In addition, GRP and synthetic rubber liners are often incorporated for curved units, and those with complicated features such as traditional mouldings.

At Techrete, we are 100% committed to an on-going research and development program that aims to discover even better and more economical ways of producing out precast cladding components and to pass on these savings and improvements to our customers. We have a long-standing commitment to investing in the newest technologies to improve out product's appearance, affordability and performance. Shown below is our Bridge Polisher that can precisely add a honed or polished finish to recon panels; a fully equipped metal-work shop capable of making steel brackets and cast-in components, and our automated bending machine capable of bending a week's worth of reinforcement (into any shape) in one man-day.

Dedicated to achieving the highest standards in all aspects of our business, strict quality control measures are implemented at Techrete to meet the exacting standards of I.S. EN ISO 9001 for design, manufacture and installation.

Our experienced contract managers supervise site installation and throughout every contract maintain close liaison with the contractor in order to establish and meet site requirements. Their expertise in all types of fixing and ancillary operations ensures erection is successfully carried out every time.

In order to service the UK marketplace efficiently and effectively we operate an impressive manufacturing base situated on a 15 acre site in North Lincolnshire in the north of England, in addition Techrete has commenced production at their new factory in Balbriggan after relocating from their Howth base over the Easter.
