Sustainability

We see our investment as an opportunity to create and add aesthetically to the built environment, without in any way jeopardising the broader environment. We promote sustainability both in the design and function of our products and in the processes used in their manufacture. We work so that our choices today will not limit the choices of others tomorrow. Our environmental management system which is ISO 14001 accredited, supports this policy and provides the framework for setting and reviewing objectives and targets. We operate a thoughtful buying policy, giving preference to materials from sustainable sources, with minimal packaging and procure products and services which are less damaging to the environment. We work with subcontractors, suppliers and clients to encourage environmental awareness and sustainability, and to identify and to share best practice and ways of reducing negative environmental impacts. We continuously monitor and reduce our consumption of energy, fuel and materials and minimise waste and CO2 emissions. We encourage re-use, recycling and recovery of resources in all company activities and manage our buildings and construction sites in an environmentally sensitive manner. We always employ best available techniques to significantly reduce our impacts to the environment.
