Founded in 1985, Techrete is a leading company in the design, manufacture and supply of architectural precast cladding, to the Irish and U.K. construction markets. The company offers a complete precast solution, providing services ranging from design through manufacture to erection. Employing 250 people, Techrete is based in Ireland and the UK.

The process of precast production begins at Techrete's design offices, which are located in Dublin and Leicester. Techrete's production facilities are situated in Howth, Dublin and in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Together, they cover 12,000 m2 of production space and are situated on a combined site area of 15 hectares. Both facilities, in Ireland and the UK, house state-of-the-art equipment, workshops and office facilities to handle every stage of a project from planning and design through production to site erection.

QUALITY

The nature of Techrete’s activities places particular emphasis upon experience, expertise, capability, reliability and quality. The prime objective of the Management Team of Techrete is to provide products in a manner, which conforms to the specified requirements, needs and expectations of Techrete’s clients.

In order to achieve this objective, strict quality control measures are implemented and maintained at Techrete to meet the exacting standards of ISO 9001:2000 for design, manufacture and installation of architectural precast panels, thus ensuring a quality finish on site for the customer.

Operate a thoughtful buying policy, giving preference to materials from sustainable sources and services which are less damaging to the environment

Health & Safety

Techrete has become the first company of its kind to be awarded the Health and Safety Certification OHSAS 18001 by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). OHSAS 18001 is an international specification that sets out a series of requirements for Health & Safety Management systems, to enable organisations to control Health & Safety risks and improve performance.

It is the policy of Techrete Limited to provide safe and healthy working conditions as required under Irish, UK and European legislation. The company recognises the prime importance of people and their health therefore optimum health and safety performance is paramount.

Techrete will achieve this by:

Eliminating hazards and situations that give rise to potential accidents
Training employees in safe working practices
Consulting with employees' representatives on health and safety matters on a regular basis
Providing a safe working environment which takes into consideration the necessary protection of employees with regard to access and egress, machinery, lighting, housekeeping, safe working procedures and safe use of substances etc. Where this is not possible or practicable then protective equipment will be provided to protect against the hazards identified
Providing adequate welfare, first aid, fire precautions and emergency procedures
